Jamshedzada Carpet Manufacturing Company was established in 1989 in Kabul, Afghanistan with the
investment of $10,000. Our business model is based on production of various kinds of carpets such as; Chobrang, Kazak, Ziegler Modern Designs and etc. according to the needs and orders of different customers. We have now
established our branches in different provinces of Afghanistan. The revenue of our company is expected to be nearly ($30,0000 per month). In addition to this investment, the company has invested portion of its assets in purchase and sales of different kinds of carpets in Afghanistan market.
Poverty remains widespread in Afghanistan’s struggling economy; Refugees returning home have found their livelihoods destroyed. Growth of poor population in Afghanistan is another issue. Fortunately, Carpet weaving industry in general and Jamshedzada Carpet Manufacturing Company in particular has alleviated those mentioned issue by working very hard to export carpet products directly from Afghanistan to the international market in order to contribute to Afghanistan economy. And also JCMC has been one of great employment opportunity that has provided a sound and dignified source of sustainable livelihood for more than six hundred families which has covered 1800 person, %70 of them are women that demonstrate JCMC’s commitment in engagement of women in the economy.
